Patriots' Path on Combs Hollow Road
Today I went on a bike ride through Randolph. It started at the edge of Mendham by the Clyde Potts Reservoir. This first part of the trail was awful! You have to cross two brooks and it is very rocky, but that made it fun and challenging. The next part of the trail was very well maintained ant rode along Randolph Trails. This trail went to Combs Hollow Road and then followed the side-walk of Doby Road and it temporarily ends at Heisteins Park. On the way back we took a blue blazed trail that connects the Randolph Trail system to Old Brookside Road. Instead of going back that awful way we continued down the Randolph Trails and the white blazes turned and blue blazes began. The Randolph Trail part is hilly, but well maintained and good for any intermediate rider. The rest of the white trail that goes to Clyde Potts is not a good trail for any biker, much better for walking. Check out pics here.
